The Lunae renowned winery, winemaking excellence Ligure, produces a spectacular red wine can boast the DOC certification Luini Hills.

The blend of grapes with which consists involves vinification 33% Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo and Canaiolo. The Auxo Colli Luini DOC is a wine of excellent quality, fine and prestigious, suitable for all occasions both of conviviality both of representation, soft and round can bewitch even the most discerning palates.

The vineyards are trained according to the Guyot system with maximum density plantations established by the product specification at 4,000 vines per hectare of land planted with vines. The land on which lie the vineyards is to the town of Castelnuovo Magra, and in small portions also falls in the towns of Ortonovo and Sarzana in the province of La Spezia. The average age of the vines is 30 years or so.

The harvest of precious vines takes place from mid-September and lasts until the end of the month and as per company tradition is strictly carried out by hand. Then the wine is developed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and the technique provides for a stay of about 10 days on the skins; then after racking, malolactic fermentation is developed completely by stainless steel tanks and final improvement of six months takes place in large oak barrels. During the first phase of the production process the must and wine are maintained by means of the temperature control system at a maximum gradation of 18 ° C.
